    It is an awful feeling not to be able to sleep when you feel that you must rest . I had this problem too a couple of years ago and I honestly say that it is abolutely horrible . I contacted a therapist and it helped me a lot . Only after a few meetings my sleep was way better . I advice anyone that has this problem to contact a therapist or hypnotherapist because IT IS WORKING . You just have to truely believe what you are doing .

    My brother suffers from insomnia and I always tell him to try using hypnosis treatment to get through it. It has helped me with weight loss and I can see it helping with his insomnia, but he’s just so darn stubborn and wont go through with it.

    Some of my friends are currently having this problem . They can’t fall asleep and I am feeling horrible for them . I will advise them to go to a therapist for sure after reading you article . Thank you , Biodun .

    In my life I have seen almost everything, good and bad, reflect my sleep (or lack thereof) cycles. Good, healthy sleep can work wonders for seeing things clearly and making the needed changes in all areas of life. I smoked and drank too much because I laid awake for hours, which caused more sleeplessness, etc. Finally, with healthy sleep I gave up all of these vices and more.

    Insomnia is one of the worst things to deal with. Not being able to sleep is one of the most annoying things to deal with in life. I love my sleep and in the past I dealt with a lot of insomnia keeping me up. I tried sleeping pills, I tried other methods as well and nothing worked. But hypnosis worked perfectly and I’ve been able to fall asleep every single night with no problems whatsoever. It’s been great and I am so happy to finally wake up in a state I can handle.

    My teenage daughter has high functioning autism and I took her for hypnotherapy after reading your article on hypnosis and Asperger’s to see if it would help with her anxiety issues. So far she has had 5 sessions and not only has it improved her stress levels but she has been sleeping so much better too. Like many people with autism she often only slept for 4 or 5 hours a night which distressed her and affected the whole family. I just wish we had known about this years ago. Keep up the good work Biodun, your articles are truly inspiring.

    I’ve dealt with Insomnia at a young age, around the time when I was 15 or so. It was a problem, lost a lot of weight, suffered in school, and so on. Insomnia sucks, and I would never wish it on my worst enemy.

    I can’t imagine how annoying insomnia is, but the idea of it scares me. I really wonder if hypnosis can actually help someone sleep, the mind is very complex and all, but wouldn’t it be hard to actually get someone to sleep with such a problem?

    I am so glad I don’t have Insomnia, but I’ve had nights where I just could not sleep. For me it’s excitement for the most part. But I have dealt with many nights where I could not sleep at all and it is very annoying. That’s for sure.

    My wife suffers a bit from insomnia.I didn’t know it was such a big problem all over the world. My wife has her good nights and bad nights, so sometimes she’ll sleep all night, sometimes she’ll lay in bed staring at the wall listening to me snore. I hope she can get some help with it though, she’s tried pills and even tried therapy, but never hypnosis. So I’ll talk to her about it today.

    My friend tells me all about her insomnia problems. We both work together and she tells me how she can never sleep and when she does, it’s a couple hours. I’m going to show her this article and see what she says. She’s tried medication and other forms of therapy, but I don’t think she tried hypnosis.
